
Karolina Rojahn, a Warsaw-born pianist, has performed throughout Europe and the United States, including appearances at the Warsaw Philharmonic Hall and the Kresge Auditorium at MIT. She has won awards at several competitions, including International Piano Competition in Kosice, Milosz Magin Competition in Paris, Concerto Competition at The Boston Conservatory. She has appeared at several prestigious festivals in Europe, such as Ticino Musica, Alden-Biesen Festival, International Piano Festival in Obidos, and the Samos Island International Festival.
Karolina Rojahn earned her BM and MM in piano performance from The Boston Conservatory on a full scholarship, where she studied under the guidence of Michael Lewin. Additional teachers include such virtuosos as Kazimierz Gierzod, Paul Badura-Skoda, Herbert Seidel, Milosz Magin and Regina Smendzianka. As an educator she holds faculty positions at the Rivers Music School and the Brookline Music School.
Ms. Rojahn is a passionate performer of chamber music with specialization in new music and is a founding member of the Arbelos Trio. In summer 2007 Ms. Rojahn is recording the Preludes of Boston-based composer Andy Vores.
